Understanding YÖS and other entrance requirements

Most Turkish public universities require foreign applicants to hold a valid YÖS score, an equivalent international exam result (such as SAT), or a recognised high-school diploma depending on the program and university, while some private universities set their own entrance criteria. FTurkey can explain in general terms which entrance route a given university and program typically expects, and how that interacts with your existing exam results or diploma, without administering YÖS or any other exam itself.

Assembling and submitting a complete application file

A typical application file includes a high-school diploma and transcript (often needing notarised translation and equivalency confirmation), passport copy, language proficiency evidence, exam results where required, and program-specific forms, and requirements vary meaningfully between universities and even between departments at the same university.
