Student Visa Consulting

Student visa application, school registration, and student permit consulting.

Planning your route to studying in Turkey, before you commit

This consulting is for prospective students who have not yet finalised a school or program and want to understand how studying in Turkey actually works — the difference between a language school, a foundation year and a full degree program, how each maps to a visa category, and what happens after arrival. It sits earlier in the process than FTurkey's student visa application support, which assumes you already hold an acceptance letter and need hands-on help submitting the application; here the focus is choosing a realistic path and understanding the requirements before you apply anywhere.

Match the type of study to the right visa route

A short language course, a preparatory or foundation year, and a full bachelor's, master's or doctoral program are treated differently by Turkish authorities and by individual institutions, and the visa route that fits one may not fit another. FTurkey can walk through your academic background, goals and timeline, and explain in general terms which category of student visa is likely to apply, what a Turkish consulate typically expects to see for that category, and where school registration needs to happen before a visa application can even be filed.

Understand the general sequence before you apply

In most cases, you first secure an offer or acceptance from a Turkish educational institution, then apply for a student visa at a Turkish consulate in your home country — the e-Visa system generally does not cover student-purpose travel — and only after arrival and enrolment do you apply for a student residence permit through e-ikamet. FTurkey can help you understand this sequence, the approximate lead time each stage needs, and which steps cannot be skipped or reordered, so you plan realistic application and travel dates.

Coordinating with schools and language programs

Within an agreed written scope, FTurkey can help you compare language schools, foundation-year providers or degree programs relevant to your goals, and coordinate initial communication or registration steps with an institution you choose. FTurkey does not make admission decisions on behalf of any school, does not guarantee acceptance into a program, and does not select a school for you — the choice and the institution's own admission decision remain yours and theirs respectively.

What this consulting does not include

Once you have an acceptance letter in hand and need to prepare and submit the actual visa application, that hands-on document work is covered under FTurkey's separate student visa application support service, not here. This consulting also does not extend to representing you before a consulate or the migration authority, and cannot guarantee that any visa or later residence permit will be approved — those decisions rest with the relevant Turkish authorities.

Request a proposal

The guidance needed depends on your academic background, target level of study and how far along you already are in choosing a school. Request a quote describing your education plans, nationality and preferred start date, and FTurkey can propose a written scope for the planning and coordination support available.
