Administrative Law Consulting

Consulting on administrative procedures, administrative fines, and administrative law matters.

Understand the administrative decision before choosing a next step

Administrative law in Turkey covers disputes between individuals or businesses and public authorities — a rejected permit application, an administrative fine (idari para cezası), a municipal order, or a decision by a government directorate. FTurkey's administrative law consulting helps foreign residents, investors and businesses understand what a given administrative decision means, what deadlines apply, and which professionals should be involved. This service does not constitute legal advice; substantive legal analysis and representation before administrative bodies or administrative courts (idare mahkemesi) is carried out through coordination with independent licensed Turkish attorneys.

Describe the administrative decision or procedure involved

Share the notice, decision letter or fine you received, together with the issuing authority, the date you were notified, and any deadline stated on the document. Explain what you have already done — an objection filed, a payment made, a related permit application — and what outcome you are trying to achieve. Administrative deadlines in Turkey are often short and calculated from the notification date, so sharing the document promptly matters more than a complete narrative.

Coordination with independent licensed counsel

Where the matter requires legal argument, an administrative appeal (itiraz) or proceedings before an administrative court, FTurkey can coordinate an introduction to an independent licensed Turkish attorney appropriate to the matter and language needs. The attorney, not FTurkey, provides the legal opinion, drafts pleadings and represents you before the authority or court. FTurkey's coordination role includes organising documents, translating factual summaries for the file, and tracking communication between you and counsel; it does not include forming a legal strategy or predicting a case outcome.

Practical support within the agreed scope

Within an agreed written scope, FTurkey can help you understand procedural steps in plain language, prepare a factual chronology and document set for your attorney, and follow up on administrative correspondence such as requests for additional information. Support for straightforward administrative applications — for example, organising a response to a documentation request from an agency — can also be scoped separately from contentious matters that require legal representation.

Timelines and administrative deadlines

Administrative objection periods, court filing deadlines and payment deadlines for fines are set by Turkish law and the issuing authority, not by FTurkey. Missing a deadline can close off an appeal route entirely, so any matter with a stated deadline should be shared as early as possible. FTurkey cannot extend a statutory deadline or guarantee that an authority or court will rule in your favour.

Scope boundaries

FTurkey is a consulting and coordination company, not a law firm, and this service does not constitute legal advice. Legal opinions, court filings and representation are provided by independent licensed attorneys under their own professional responsibility. FTurkey's role, fees and deliverables are set out in a written scope agreed before work begins, and any change in the nature of the matter — for example, if urgent representation becomes necessary — may require revising that scope.

Request a proposal

Request a quote describing the administrative decision or procedure you are facing, relevant dates and deadlines, and your preferred language for counsel. FTurkey can then propose a written scope and, where needed, coordinate an introduction to appropriate independent legal counsel.
