Choosing a university programme in Turkey, or applying from Turkey to study abroad, involves comparing institutions, entry requirements and funding options at the same time. FTurkey's academic consulting service helps students and families organise that comparison and communicate with universities and scholarship bodies. Programme research, application coordination, scholarship guidance and document preparation support are available subject to an agreed written scope. Admissions decisions, examination results and scholarship awards remain with the relevant institution or funding body; FTurkey does not issue offers or grant funding itself.

Describe your academic background and objectives

Start with a brief covering your current education level, subject interests, target degree level, preferred cities or universities, and intended start term. Include existing transcripts, diplomas, standardised test scores (such as YÖS, SAT or language certificates) and any prior correspondence with universities. State whether you are a Turkish citizen, hold dual nationality, or are applying as an international student, since eligibility rules for public universities, foundation universities and scholarship schemes differ by status.

If you are still deciding between fields of study or countries, list the open questions explicitly. An initial engagement can help narrow options before committing time to a specific application cycle.

Compare programmes and institutions on a consistent basis

Within the agreed scope, FTurkey can research relevant programmes, entry requirements, tuition ranges, language of instruction and accreditation status, and present them for your comparison. Programme duration, recognised accreditation, diploma equivalence (denklik) procedures for foreign diplomas, and campus location are gathered so options can be compared on a consistent basis. FTurkey does not guarantee admission to any programme; each university's admissions office makes the final decision based on its own criteria.

Coordinate scholarship and funding applications

Scholarship and funding options in Turkey range from government programmes such as Türkiye Bursları to university-specific grants and private funding. The written scope can cover identifying schemes that match your profile, organising required documents and tracking submission windows. Award decisions, interview processes and funding amounts are set by the awarding body; FTurkey's role is coordination and document support, not a guarantee of an award.

Prepare documents and track deadlines

Document preparation may include organising translated and notarised transcripts, motivation letters, recommendation letters and language certificates for submission. Where an application requires a Turkish-language proficiency certificate, coordination with a recognised language centre (such as a TÖMER programme) can be arranged as a separate, explicitly agreed item. Deadlines for admissions cycles and scholarship rounds are set by each institution; the proposal will state which submission windows the engagement is planned around.

Scope boundaries

FTurkey's academic consulting is an advisory and coordination service. It is not a university, an accredited examination body, or an immigration authority, and it does not issue diplomas, equivalence certificates or student visas. Any related student visa or residence permit support is coordinated as a separate, explicitly scoped service. Estimates depend on the completeness of the information you provide and are not a guarantee of admission, funding or visa outcomes.
